Emma Twydell is a Bristol based registered Yoga teacher. She specialises in Hatha, Yin and Restorative Yoga, combined with Myofascial Release Techniques, and believes in the transformational power of a regular yoga practice for a healthy body and mind.
Emma took her first 200hr teacher training in Hatha Yoga in 2014 whilst living and working in The Cayman Islands. She has also taken further trainings with a number of world class teachers including Sarah Powers and Tiffany Cruikshank. She is currently studying for her 500hr Teacher Training with Yoga Medicine®.
Emma’s teaching is versatile and ranges from powerful Hatha flow to build strength, flexibility and balance; Yin Yoga, to get into the deep connective tissue; and Restorative Yoga to allow the body to truly rest and repair, which offers amazing benefits for stress management. She has experience in teaching yoga to office workers and sports people alike- including runners, football referees and surfers- focusing on injury prevention, improving flexibility, mobility, and concentration.
Emma’s classes guide practitioners through a journey of self-discovery using asana, pranayama and meditation. Her classes are welcoming, inclusive and down to earth, weaving intelligent alignment based sequencing with yoga philosophy. Her intention is for people to leave feeling nourished, balanced and uplifted!
